The Youth Empowerment Summit is hosted at the Marshall University Memorial Student Center.

  • The Youth and Adult track will take place in the Memorial Student Center on Marshall’s campus.
  • Lodging is available at Twin Towers for youth groups and their adult guides who request it during registration (see details below).
  • We recommend the local area – Delta Hotels by Marriott Huntington Downtown (800 3rd Ave, Huntington, WV 25701)

Overnight Stay: Dorm rooms in Twin Towers will be provided free of charge. Double occupancy for youth and single occupancy for chaperones and/or Adult Guide Track attendees will be provided. Every person will have their own individual bed. Everyone must bring their own toiletries and linens for the dorm rooms. NONE will be provided.  Items that everyone should bring with them since they will NOT be provided include the following: pillow, sleeping bag/sheets, blankets, bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth, shampoo, soap, body wash, deodorant/antiperspirant, and any other item for hygiene or comfort. Please wear/bring comfortable clothing and shoes, and dress in layers to allow for temperature comfort. The chaperone to youth ratio must be one chaperone for six or less youth. Keys to all rooms will be given to chaperones to hand out. There will be a $50 fee charged for each key that is lost or not returned by 8:30 am on June 18th.
